TACERE Parts Ways With Singer, Seeks Replacement
April 22, 2008Finnish melodic metal band TACERE and singer Helena Haaparanta have gone their separate ways. Helena is not a part of TACERE anymore "due to personal reasons that have nothing to do with the band itself or its music," according to a press release.
TACERE is currently seeking a new female singer and is accepting submissions at [email protected]. The band has also announced that it will commence the recordings of its second album at the end of May at Astia Studio in Lappeenranta, Finland. The recording sessions will continue until late autumn in several different locations and the production duties will be handled by the band's frontman Karri Knuuttila along with producer guru Anssi Kippo, who is best known for his work with bands such as CHILDREN OF BODOM. The as-yet-untitled album will feature 12 new songs "with massive orchestrations."
TACERE's debut album, "Beautiful Darkness", was released in February 2007.
